Light Over The Horizon

Take off, if you must
glad that you are —
we all deserve to be with someone who wants to be with us.

In a wrinkle of time, the wind whirls round and round,
floating up the cloud,
pondering on my naivety.

The shaft of sunshine,
and the light from the concatenation of rainbows fall over me -
hoping, that you shall gleam, as much, wherever you need to be.

The distant sounds bellow and cold wind whip the horses in the barn,
the sunflowers are lit.

The dandelions outside are tired from waiting,
the honeysuckle is devoid of fragrance —
waiting for the spring to blossom,
before it has even arrived.

The earth is sprinkled with flowers,
the bees have come to suck the pollen,
to the effect of producing honey for their kins.

I am here -
Standing in the dusk
The twilight is washing over me.

And I rest in tranquility that our paths which were not meant to merge -
atleast, crossed, for all things do not have to make a confluence of rivers.
